The Panorama Community School District covers 197 square miles, which includes the communities of Bagley, Jamaica, Linden, Panora, and Yale. Our school vehicles travel almost 200,000 miles annually, transporting an average of 575 students to and from school each day, along with the many extracurricular activities. The district owns 13 yellow buses and 10 support vehicles.
The staff consists of a transportation director, 9 regular route drivers and several substitute drivers. We provide 9 morning and afternoon routes, 1 mid-day preschool route, and 2 special needs routes. Our certified professional drivers undergo constant training to keep your families safe; they also hope that your children have an enjoyable ride to school each day.
The district’s vehicles are inspected twice annually by the Iowa Department of Education and the Iowa State Patrol. Our on-site repair facility uses the latest in equipment and technology to keep our vehicles reliable for any journey. We take great pride in assuring students a safe and dependable trip to and from school and school events.
